Meet our creative founder

Jennifer Chung

Dining curator and sensorial artist Jennifer Chung, one of Perspective magazine’s 2015 40 under 40 design award winners, has obtained international recognition with The Popsy Room and continues to impact Hong Kong and Asia with Popsy Modern Kitchen, Popsy Galeries, and Popsy Experience. With Chung as its creative force, Popsy Collective has attracted over 250 news articles worldwide, being deemed as “Asia’s first Art Food Pairing Specialist” by Time Out Magazine, and one of “The Tastemakers” by Robb Report New York, Singapore and India.

Chung made it her life’s work to change the way we experience art, and to do so through food. With life experiences between Paris, Hong Kong, the U.S. and Canada, Chung received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. After claiming multiple design awards and working on projects for brands like Dior and DKNY, she began her career in Paris as a designer before moving to Hong Kong, where she worked in marketing and communications for Van Cleef & Arpels creating international events in the Asia Pacific. Shortly after, she joined Galerie Perrotin to work with artists such as Takashi Murakami, before working on projects for Cartier, Davidoff, Sonia Rykiel amongst many others, until ultimately embarking on her journey creating countless unforgettable art food experiences as creative founder of Popsy Collective.
